SEBI camera (Sensing the Electromagnetic Behavior by Intensity) is a new tool for sensing reality. In addition to being a volumetric camera, it is capable of measuring the instantaneous wave front phase associated with the scene, so it can be considered as the first total camera on the market.

Thanks to this technology, we are able to calculate the lightfield and wavefront phase, identifying the refractive index for the whole scene and, as a result, we are able to recognize surfaces and depth within a single photographic image, generate 3D representations and correct or distort the scene at will, only using software.
This technology is the result of over 10 years of research in focal stacking calculus, a technique used in Astrophysics for observing celestial bodies.
With SEBI, Wooptix aims to establish a new standard in lightfield generation and wavefront phase calculus, applied in real-time for video processing.
