Project Manager– Metrology Tool Development
Location: Tenerife (San Cristóbal de La Laguna) – Madrid – Full Time

We are looking for a dynamic Project Leader to spearhead our latest development of a metrology embedded tool, designed to transform silicon wafer measurements for the semiconductor market. Role and Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager for our Integration Development Program, you will plan, organize, and oversee the full lifecycle of this strategic initiative. Reporting to the Product Development Manager and the Chief Operations, you will manage a cross-functional team of engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work Breakdown and Planning:
Develop and maintain the project plan, including staffing, budget, and timelines, while ensuring alignment with stakeholders across the company and externally.
• Team Leadership and Coaching:
Lead a development team of 4-5 engineers, providing guidance, setting clear expectations, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Project Execution:
Oversee the technical implementation of the project, ensure timely delivery, and align the project with broader organizational goals.
• Quality and Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and bottlenecks, drive recovery actions, and secure the quality of all deliverables.
• Customer and Supplier Management:
Maintain direct communication with international customers, managing escalations, and overseeing supplier deliverables.
• Continuous Improvement:
Drive the identification of improvement opportunities within the project and team, ensuring a continuous focus on enhancing efficiency and performance.
• Agile Methodology:
Work in an Agile environment, utilizing Scrum teams to manage workflow, address challenges, and deliver results efficiently.
Requirements:
Must Have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system engineering and project management (2-5 years), with a focus on systems integration, testing strategies, and customer issue management.
• Flexibility to travel internationally (~20% of the time).
Should have:
• Strong familiarity with metrology tools, complex system architectures, and the semiconductor or high-tech industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments or Scrum teams will be a plus.
• PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Fluency in English. Spanish language would be a plus.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Experience using Jira or similar SW is a plus.
